A cursing cabby flung open the back door of his cab in Midtown and lunged at two young female passengers in a desperate bid to avoid taking them to Bedford-Stuyvesant, a disturbing video shows.

“Oh, my God!” one of the women screams. “Do not touch us! Do not f – – king touch us!”

“You, you have to take us to Brooklyn!”

The irate driver then scampered out the back seat, wildly flailed his arms, and desperately begged other cabs to take his fares off his hands.

“He just went crazy. It was really pretty scary,” said a passenger named Michelle, 31, who hailed the taxi with her pal, Amy, also 31, on Sixth Avenue and 44th Street around 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Greater New York Taxi Association is pleased to announce that Peter Schenkman is joining GNYTA member, Taxi Club Management, Inc., as Logistics Coordinator and has been unanimously appointed as the Senior Executive Advisor of the GNYTA. Mr. Schenkman is leaving his post as Assistant Commissioner for Safety and Emissions at the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission.

In that position he was responsible for ensuring that New York taxis are among the safest, cleanest and most fuel efficient for hire vehicles in the United States.

Prior to joining the TLC, Peter was Director of Transportation for the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) which is responsible for virtually the entire New York City vehicle fleet.

There he was responsible for developing and implementing an interagency vehicle fleet management software program which is used throughout the City’s numerous agencies.

Peter is joining Taxi Club Management, one of the most dynamic and progressive companies in New York, the pioneer and leading innovator of hybrid and wheelchair accessible taxis nad GNYTA, the progressive owners’ association.
